Crab Pots
Saw these cab pots on a dock across the bay. I really wanted to be closer but had a couple hundred yards of chilly water between. I used a 400mm lens to get what I could. Would have loved 100 more mm's but still happy with the shot.

Sea Star
An unusual site on an East coast Florida beach. I was out looking for turtle hatchlings when I saw this lone Sea Star laying on the beach. No one was around and the Star was still alive. I snapped a couple quick shots, put it in the water and moved on.

Lone Sand Dollar
This image was taken on a chilly morning on the West coast of Vancouver Island BC. It was strange to look down such a large stretch of beach and see this single Sand Dollar. (See the live sand dollars in the gallery and how they stand on their edge)

Red Fall Color
Couldn't pass up this simple pix. The color was so vibrant even though the cold frost had burnt the edges.
