Tabla lake, BC
Camped here. Pulled in late in the eve and ended up sleeping in the truck. I backed it to the lake, popped open the back, made myself a cup of tea and read my book. In the morning, this was the scene—super tranquil—just what i needed.

Tranquility
I could not have painted a better picture. It was absolutly dead quite when I took this shot. Just an absolutly perfect end to the day.
-
Sea To Sky Highway
This is an amazing river that runs along the Sea to Sky Highway. One of many tributaries of the Lilloet and great Frasier River.
-
Valley of the Lodges
This was a wetlands area that had a small country road running along it for miles. I call it the Valley of the Lodges because I counted no less than 10 Beaver Lodges in this area. There is no lodge in this photo.
-
Garibaldi Provincial Park Stream
Along a moderate to difficult hike, this trail runs through an amazing forest of old growth timber, green mosses and water that trickles down every gorge it can find.

Ocean Bird
A scavenger of the fall salmon run.

Bella Coola BC Ranch
Id dig living here. As long as I dont want to go shopping or grab a latte.

Mother Bear
This is the motehr of a two year old cub (see following pix). I watched them for about two hours one early morning. The light was very low due to the early, cloudy morning and I was shooting at iso 1000 and pushing +1. Still had a hard time getting the shutter above 400th.

Bear Cub
Tjis cub looks to be about two years old. It was doing a great job killing this already dead salmon. Good practice guess.
-
Eagle Attack
Wish id been more prepared for this but managed to get a quick couple shots off.

The Last Sunflower
I coulnt believe there were a couple Sunflowers left with the weather so cold. I could tell they were barly haning in there. In fact the position told me they were not really able to follow the sun. The sun popped out briefly and it made for a great pix.

Unhappy Griz
Another supper early pix. Ive had to really lighten this up for posting to show an either curious OR unhappy stare.

Bella Coola
Kayaking the North Bentinck Arm at the mouth of the Bella Coola River. Sun came out this day and the wind was dead calm. The temp was in the low 40's so the wetsuit was in order. The view out the arm was amazing and the Harbor Seals were abundant following the salmon to the Bella Coola (see following pix).

Being Watched
(Harbor Seals) These guys were popping up all over the place. At one point I counted 5 at one time watching me. There were no other water craft in the area so they probably wanted to know...What was up!

Canadian Geese
What would a visit to Cananda be without a photo of Geese?
-
Painted Forest
Its not the Appalachians in the fall or Vermont, but the scenery was stunning and unique and it went on for hundreds of miles with not a building in the way.

Lake
What can I say but another beautiful Canadian lake.
