Coastal Brown Bear

This young adult female was grabbed this dead Salmon and then ran off to eat it. Pretty clear the end of the run was here and the bears on this day were getting all of the last fat they could before winter.

This second year cub attacked its mother wanting to play for 15 minutes before the mother pined the cub to the ground and held it there. Once the cub was let up, it came right back for more and the mother snapped out at it. Its all in fun and about teaching the cub.

On the approach to this beach this lonely female oblivios due to our downwind approach. Then as quickly as the wind changed, she spotted us.
